The two full sisters, Ullarole and Vodka, combine the bloodlines of the two Dutch "Living Legends," Nimmerdor and Voltaire. This combination has been used successfully over and over again by knowledgeable Dutch breeders and is accepted as one of the outstanding "nicks" of the KWPN.

Consul competed up to Fourth level in the United States (before being sidelined with an injury,) but also was a jumper at lower levels in the Netherlands. He received high marks at his stallion test in Holland, including a "9" for character. His sire Nimmerdor is a Preferent stallion with 26 approved sons worldwide. Consul was the first foal of the Preferent and Prestatie mare Waloniki who is a member of "fokfam" (mare breeding line) 199. This line has produced an astounding eight Prestatie mares since 1980.

Consul is continuing the superior production of his sire and dam. He is the sire of 52 Star mares and geldings, 9 Keur mares and two approved NAWPN breeding stallions. His approved son Judgement is the winner of numerous grand prixs, including the Gold Cup at Devon with Olympian Michael Matz. Judgement has been a member of USET teams at Spruce Meadows, Washington and Toronto, and represented the United States at the World Equestrian Games in Jerez, Spain in 2002. Consul produces talented dressage horses such as Johnny Be Good, USDF region 4 I-1 Champion, and Jamboree, Dressage at Devon 4th Level Champion. His son Eleventh Hour was Green Working Hunter Champion at both the Hampton Classic and Palm Beach.

The dam of these two fillies, Garole, also competed to 4th level dressage in Holland, but perhaps can also be considered a progenitor of jumpers; she finished 7th for her year in the Pavo Cup in Holland (at the time, the national young horse jumping championships,) and received a "9" for jumping under saddle at her mare performance test. Her dam was a UTV mare, and both her dam and granddam were Preferent mares.

Ullarole is the image of her dam Garole, so much so that her barn name is "Minnie Me." She is an easily handled, temperamentally mild filly, but she has extravagant gaits and enormous athleticism. She is courageous and confident into the jumps, and easily collects or extends to the proper distance. We believe she will mature to about 15'3". She is priced in Category C.

We were so impressed with Ullarole that we bred the dam back to Consul. We are just as pleased with the resulting filly Vodka. This filly takes after her father more that the dam, however. Although she shares her sister's gaits and athleticism, we believe she will mature to 17 hands, and is a lighter bay than her sister. She is distinguished by a "lightning blaze," also a gift from Consul. She is a naturally balanced, self-assured filly, who is the first to greet you when you visit the weanling field. Vodka is priced in Category C.
